Just hit the 2 Queen of Hearts in Lucky Ladies at Harrah's Atlantic City last night with a $25 bet and the dealer had Blackjack!
Paid out 1000 to 1, for a score $25,000, minus the $100 lost on the hand(lol)
Gonna suck when I have to do taxes next year!

I determined this as follows: 6 Queen of Hearts in the 312 card shoe. Once the first is received, there are only 5 QH cards left that you may possibly be dealt. 312 times 311 divided by 2 = the quantity of possible 2-card combinations in the 312-card deck, 48,516. The popular 21+3 blackjack side bet is based on the first two cards dealt to the player and the dealer's face card. You win if the combination of these cards is either: Suited trips (e.g. Three Queen of Diamonds) – 100:1; Straight flush (e.g. Jack, Queen, and King of Diamonds) – 40:1.

Why are you playing a H17 game especially with that action? Are you betting Lucky Ladies with the count?

Great hit! How long did it take to pay you? She doesn't have enough purple trips in her tray to pay out $25K, so I'm guessing they had to do a fill. How much did you tip, and did you give the other players anything?

You're gonna get berated for playing sidebets and inferior rules, but don't take it the wrong way. It comes with the territory on the board here. Like I always say, 'It doesn't matter whether you had a good or bad bet, it's whether or not you win!' (Wait..)

If you stop playing the bet now, then you're probably way ahead on it, which to you makes it a great bet.
It looks like there's precisely 24,000 in purple and black, but there could be a couple more. However, I guess they still would get a fill.
I noticed there's lammers on the empty spots. It must've been late at night, and were getting ready to close the table.

Took them roughly 10 mins for them to approve the hand aka Check the cameras to make sure I didn't cheat, and bring in the extra checks to pay me.
I gave everyone at the table $100, and the dealer $125. Basically because I was screaming for the dealer to have Blackjack at their expense!
As for why no insurance, I didn't see the need to as I was getting $3000 in the worst case scenario and was on a pretty good run at that point. The Lucky Ladies was pretty much the insurance bet and I'd never seen 2 Queen of Hearts hit with a Dealer BJ, so i didn't really count on it.
In AC, pretty much all the casinos are H17 and on a Saturday night you really can't find much elbow room at a table that isn't.
I was also with some friends who wanted to go to Harrah's and Borgata instead of my usual stomping grounds of Taj and Resorts. So I went along for the ride and found some good return at Harrah's. We played the rest of the shoe and then hit up a strip club. So yea, I did give SOME of the money back, but all for a good cause!!!

Amazing win! How'd they pay that out..I've been to Harrah's AC and I know they keep $1000 and $5000 chips around, and 50 purples seems like a lot to dish out. 10 mins is actually pretty quick. At Showboat AC, a guy hit all 6 points on the Fire Bet and that closed the table for about 30 min while they got the tax forms and drivers licenses verified.

When discussing some of the side bets in blackjack, you'll notice that I use terms like 'expected return' and 'house edge.' Here's an explanation of those concepts. Mohegan sun craps table minimums.

The expected return is the amount of money that you can expect to win or lose (in the long run) from each wager. For example, if you're placing an even-money $1 bet, and your chances are 40% fora win and 60% for a loss. This would give you the following: $0.40 – $0.60 = -$0.20. The negative sign in front of the total means that for every dollar wagered you can expect to lose $0.20 (onaverage, over a long period of time—in the short run, anything can happen).

Here's an example where you have multiple options for winning. Let's say that you're betting $1 on a slot machine, and you have a 20% chance of winning $4, a 25% chance of winning $3, and a 55%chance of losing. Here's how the expected return would be calculated:

20% x $4 = $0.80

25% x $3 = $0.75

55% x -$1 = -$0.55

$0.80 + $0.75 – $0.55 = $1

In this example, you could expect to win $1 per spin over the long term. Trace adkins wind creek casino. Of course, no sane casino ever offers a slot machine game with a positive return.

The house edge, meanwhile, is the ratio of the average loss to the initial bet. Expressed as a percentage, this number demonstrates the subtle way in which casino games bleed aplayer dry.

For example, a 5% house edge means you can expect to lose $5 for every $100 wagered—or $0.05 for every $1. This might not sound like a lot, but it gives the casino a financial advantage over theplayer and allows for a steady accumulation of profit.

Game designers and casinos carefully calculate the expected return and house edge before putting a game on the casino floor. The end result is that the house almost always has an advantage overthe player, which explains why the major casinos rake in obscene amounts of money on an annual basis.
